The most innovative technology, which appeared on the market is electronic lighting, realized with LED technology. It is based on light-emitting semiconductor materials that convert electricity to light. A characteristic feature of LED lighting technology is the low unit energy consumption.

Electronic LED light sources have a manufacturer's warranty for 50,000 hours of continuous operation or 45 times longer than ordinary bulbs, 30 times longer than halogen and 15 times longer than compact fluorescent lamps, so you can save money and help the environment at the same time.
Electronic lighting can save up to 70% of the consumption of electricity for lighting purposes compared to traditional halogen and incandescent lamps. And so, for comparison, 5W light bulb made in LED technology generates as much light as 9W compact fluorescent and 35W halogen. Luminaire 15W made in LED technology consumes 80% less energy compared to conventional luminaires compact and generates the same amount of light as a traditional light bulb 75W.
Lower power consumption makes electronic lighting is environmentally friendly, since producing less heat lowers the room temperature by up to 1-2℃. This has a direct impact on reducing the cost of operation of HVAC systems and thus reducing CO2 emissions to the atmosphere. In addition, electronic lighting is much safer for the environment because it is free from mercury and produces no UV or IR radiation, that with prolonged contact may be harmful to humans. In other words, the light source made in LED technology are the greenest and most environmentally friendly among other well-known lighting technologies.
The light intensity and high color rendering index (CRI) enables accurate color reproduction which causes the light source made in LED technology produces light that is pleasant and relaxing and thus increases comfort and well-being of users.
Electronic light source made in LED technology does not have the characteristics of AF, as such. Compact fluorescent and sodium lamps. When illuminated LED electronic eyes do not get tired and there is the phenomenon of sparking, which can cause an explosion or fire.
